MuSol MNA – Neutralising Agents

MuSol MNA product range has been developed as concentrated neutralising agents to control foul odours produced by sewage treatment and storage facilities, sanitary landfill sites, slaughterhouses and generally where organic decomposition is taking place.

In conjunction with our spray systems the products can be either applied to  the surrounding area as a spray or by direct injection into effluent systems

MuSol MNA is typically pre-diluted and then atomised into a fine-mist, using  one of MuSol’s misting units, or added directly into an effluent stream, to combat odours in 5 different ways:

MNA contains substances which will chemically pair with odorous compounds, changing the properties of the odour molecule, rendering it odourless.

1. Pairing

Odour molecules can be oxidised to produce an odourless solution. A combination of oxygen, MNA and hydrogen ions generates a safe reaction, resulting in odour neutralisation

2. Oxidation

Certain odour compounds molecules will attach themselves to MNA neutraliser, generating I minute energy charge that partly neutralises their odour and absorbs them into a larger odourless compound.

3. Adsorption

Certain odour compounds dissolve into MNA neutraliser, losing their odour in the process.

4. Dissolving

MNA odour neutraliser combines with certain odorous molecules, changing their structure to generate new molecules that are environmentally friendly and completely odourless.

5. Combination

By working in 5 ways:

MNA offers comprehensive and highly effective odour neutralisation which actually breaks down and removes odours, rather than masking them, or hiding them with surfactant technology.
